Function

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic, demyelinating disease of the central nervous system (CNS). The CNS consists of the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves. The cause of MS is unknown, but it is thought to be an autoimmune disorder.

MS damages the myelin sheath, the protective covering that surrounds nerve cells. This damage disrupts communication between the nerves and the rest of the body. Symptoms of MS can vary widely from person to person and range from mild to severe.

There are four types of MS: relapsing-remitting, primary-progressive, secondary-progressive, and progressive-relapsing. The most common type is relapsing-remitting MS. This type is characterized by periods of remission (no symptoms) followed by periods of relapse (symptoms return).

Most people with MS experience their first symptom between the ages of 20 and 40. Women are more likely than men to develop MS. The disease is more common in people who live in colder climates, such as North America and Europe.

product Description

The Microsoft Surface is a line of tablet computers designed and manufactured by Microsoft, running the Windows 10 operating system. The first Surface was released on October 26, 2012, followed by the Surface 2 on October 22, 2013, then the Surface Pro 2 on October 24, 2013. As of January 2015, Microsoft no longer manufactures the Surface 2, instead only producing the higher-end Surface Pro line.

Surface devices are distinguished in form from other traditional clamshell-style laptops by their use of a kickstand and removable keyboard accessories; they are further distinguished in function from most other tablets by their inclusion of full Windows (as opposed to iOS or Android) and support for native desktop applications like Microsoft Office.

The surface tablet was announced January 21, 2015 at an event in New York City. At this event, it was revealed that there would be two models available: The surface 3 (10.8 inches) and the surface pro 3 (12 inches). Both models come with 4 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of storage. The surface 3 uses an Intel Atom x7 processor while the surface pro 3 uses a fourth generation Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 processor. Both models have a microSD card reader, mini DisplayPort, USB 3.0 port and a headphone jack. The surface 3 also has a full-sized USB port while the surface pro 3 does not. Pricing for the surface 3 starts at $499 while pricing for the surface pro
